The PhD study programme is designed to train highly qualified specialists with the necessary qualifications to design, implement, professionally develop, and apply information and communication technologies (ICT), further to use modern PC methods when making decisions. Graduates are qualified in the flow of information and economic processes in different organizations and institutions and acquire the knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) and their possible creative applications. They are trained for further creative scientific work in the appropriate branch. Graduates of PhD study programmes can be responsible for scientific or pedagogical activities in the sphere of universities or specialized agencies. They are also able to control the process of design and creation of the information system (IS) including data and information backup and they know how to set up and apply the Global Information System (GIS) to support decisions in all levels of public administration.
